Kibale forest is home to the largest population of chimpanzees in Uganda with over 1450 chimps and other 12 primates known to inhabit this tropical forest plus a up to 70 mammals and 375 bird species to add to the various butterfly and plant species which has made it one of the best destinations for nature lovers.

Day 1- Entebbe to FortPortal Airport
Our driver guide will drive you to the airport where you will board a plane to Fortportal arriving at 9. Our other guide will then pick you up from the airport and drive you to your lodge/ camp in Kibale national park where you will be spending the night. Check in at your accommodation and prepare for a short guided nature walk where you will encounter a variety of primates, birds as you enjoy the landscapes and nature. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 - Chimpanzee tracking and depature
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before being transfered to the Kanyanchu river camp , a famous spot for primate walks in Kibale forest. The guided walk will start as early as 8am lasting for about 3 hours , expect to encounter chimpanzees, blue monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons, L'hoest monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys plus common birds like the African Pitta, white-naped pigeon, crowned Eagle, little greenbul, African grey parrot, Kingfishers among others. If lucky you might bump into the forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs among other mammals.

Head back to the lodge and prepare for check out, you will be driven to the airport for a flight back to Entebbe ending the trip
