RwandAir Ranked Among the World’s Improved Airlines In Africa

As Uganda is in the process of reinstating their collapsed National carrier, Rwanda has their airlines ranked as the 10th most improved airlines in the world at the World’s Airline awards in London. The World’s Most Improved Airline award reflects an airline’s Quality improvement across the entire Awards programme, which monitors and evaluates an airline’s change in the world classifications, and achievements in different award listings.
China Southern Airlines emerged winner of the world’s improved airlines followed by Philippine Airlines while in the category of best Airlines in Africa, Ethiopian Airlines took the first spot with South African Airlines at number two, Air Mauritius claiming the third spot and Kenya Airways at number five. In the category of world’s best airlines, Singapore Airlines was named the award winner in Skytrax awards, Qatar Airways took the 2nd position and ANA All Nippon Airways from Japan became 3rd.
Rwanda alone has acquired 12 aircrafts which among them exist two wide Airbuses A330 purchased in 2017 making RwandAir able to fly to 26 destinations including East, West, Central and Southern Africa within the African continent, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
“The focus of the survey is for customers to make their own, personal choices as to which airline they consider to be the best, underlining the brand as the Passenger’s Choice Awards,” indicated in Skytrax’s press release, a United Kingdom–based consultancy responsible for the airline and airport review and ranking site.
From Cotonou hub, RwandAir initiated its flights straight to Abidjan, Libreville and Brazzaville while from Kigali international Airport they fly to Abuja, Cape Town which effected in April and May 2018 with the aim of penetrating the America’s skies especially New York City, China’s Guangzhou province, Ethiopia’s Addis Ababa, Mali’s Bamako and Guinea’s Conakry. In the travel industry that boosts tourism by connecting destinations, domestic and international flights that RwandAir offers has put Rwanda at the center of the world making it one of the best easily accessed tourism hubs in the great lakes region alongside Tanzania and Kenya which both have their National carriers in operation. Though Uganda Airlines collapsed in 2001, Uganda struggles to be among the most visited destinations in Africa but with it plans to revive its airlines, it stands a high chance of being very competitive in the travel and tourism industries.
RwandAir is 99% a government owned airline which commenced its flights on 27th April 2003 as a national carrier of Rwanda so for your bookings to eligibly fly with RwandAir, simply call us today on +256-758540071 or send us an email to booking@tristarafricaskimmersafaris.com and fly the dream of Africa.
