Located in the Eastern part of Africa across the equator, Uganda is among Africa’s  most gifted countries in terms of natural resources as it has the best of everything the continent has to offer all packed within it. It is bordered by Kenya in the East, the Democratic Republic of Congo in the West, Tanzania in the South and the Republic of South Sudan in the North and Rwanda in the South West. Uganda contains of ten national parks, various game reserves and other protected areas with the highest concentration of primates in the world including the earth’s rarest animals such as majestic endangered mountain gorillas plus chimpanzees. It also harbors the largest inland water body in Africa known as Lake Victoria and is also the home to the highest mountain range in Africa which is Mountain Rwenzori also known as “the mountains of the moon.” Uganda is the source of the great River Nile which is the world’s longest river offering the best white water rafting adventure in the world.
